On the First Day of Christmasa rando gave to me ...

...a drunk dial around the hour of 3.

Yup, around 3 am on Saturday night my phone rings that annoying iPhone ring that I have yet to figure out how to change. Knowing that my formal sorority's formal was that night and that no one calls you at 3 am unless they are drunk, in jail, or it is an emergency, I spring to my phone hoping for it to be option 1 (a drunk dial) from either Sandy or Margo. Sadly, when I look at the phone, I see a number across the screen that I cannot identify. Pissed that I had been woken up and disappointed that it was no one that I knew, I decide not to answer because quite frankly, I have decided that karma is a bitch and all the random drunk dialing that I did over the past few years is catching up to me now, especially when I am peacefully sleeping the night away. I silenced the phone and started to go back to sleep when I realized all the sudden who the random number belonged to. It was the waiter from last weekend. Seriously dude? What a creep! Who drunk dials someone that they barely know? Ohhhh wait, that is me. I did that all the time/still do on those random occasions that I am actually fun (and by random occasions, I mean once a week rather than the 5 days a week that I used to do it). Eventually I was able to rest my pretty little head again but when I woke up the next morning I couldn't help but wonder what in the world this guy wanted, especially since he had refused to accept my friend request for several days (and once he did, I discovered that my fun little make out was "in a relationship"), so I texted him, which turned into the longest text convo of my life, which turned into him trying to sext me. Really dude?

Although I was initially unhappy about the fact that I had been awaken, more so that it was by a guy with a girlfriend, who had cheated on her with me the weekend prior to, I have now decided that it was actually a self esteem booster and for the first day of Christmas everyone should get a drunk dial from a rando.

I am going to a Christmas party tonight. Perhaps I shall get drunk and dial away as the first give to a few.
